Darwin Lakeside Drive Dog Park Alawa is a well-thought-out, dog-friendly space. I really appreciated that there are separate areas for big and small dogs — it makes visits more relaxed and safe for everyone.
The whole park is well maintained, and you can tell the council puts effort into keeping it clean and functional. Dog waste bags are available, and there are water troughs to keep the pups hydrated after a good run.
It’s also in a great location, easy to get to and nicely laid out. The only downside is the lack of shade, so it’s best to visit in the early morning or late afternoon, especially during warmer months.
Overall, Darwin Lakeside Drive Dog Park Alawa is a fantastic spot for dogs to burn off energy and socialise safely.
