What I liked about it:
The dog park near the corner of Saltwater Promenade and Middleton Drive is a small, fenced area shaped like a half oval—approximately 50 metres wide and 75 metres long. While the park has multiple single-gate entrances, it’s important to note that dogs may slip out when people enter or exit, so extra care is needed.
Inside the park, there’s a small selection of agility equipment, including weave poles, a table, and a V-shaped bridge—offering enrichment for active dogs. Near the western entrance, you’ll find a shelter and a waste bin for convenience.
Although there is a water tap with a bowl near the north-east entrance, it is located outside the fence. Relocating it inside the secure area would improve safety and accessibility for pets and their owners.
Overall, the park offers a basic yet functional off-leash space for dogs to enjoy, with opportunities for improvement in safety and amenities.
